Best Bibles: Color Code Study Bible Review

If you are considering the Color Code Study Bible, you may be wondering if it’s the best Bible for you. It may be overwhelming trying to find the best Bibles to serve your needs. You may be asking yourself, “Will the Color Code Study Bible work for me?”

Here’s some encouragement, your needs may change throughout the years and having more than one Bible is definitely not a problem to have. I know I have several bibles and they all have their different functions for what I’ve needed over the years.

The Color Code Study Bible has proven to be a great tool. I fully believe you can add this Bible in your growing library of Christ centered resources and not regret it. I also believe you can gift this Bible to someone without the worry of it being off.

Is the Color Code Study Bible the one for you?

Is this one of the best Bibles to choose when wanting to create new Bible Study practices? Will someone who is a beginner be able to follow along? Whether you’re reading the Bible for the first time or are trying new practices in reading the Bible, the Color Code Study Bible is a great option.

Let’s start with the look. Note: The Color Code Study Bible is also available in brown and hardcover. I personally picked the purple to review and I really like the color. It’s more of a deep purple although I don’t personally mind if it was lighter. Also, if you’re a texture person, this will feel nice to hold.

You are going to see already highlighted areas throughout the Color Code Study Bible as examples of what kind of verses you are going to highlight according to their topics as you study. They are listed below almost every page as a reminder of what color signifies which topic.

I don’t know about you, but I would definitely forget what color went for what so I appreciate the reminders that I can easily find.

The colors they chose are pretty universal so I’m sure you will be able to find highlighters to match and if they are not exact, they may be pretty close to it. If you’re a Bible Nerd like me, then you will appreciate using this Bible. Any excuse to get more Bible Nerd tools like highlighters and I’m jumping at it!

At the beginning of the Color Code Study Bible, it does give you an explanation on how to use it. Even though I consider myself a more seasoned Bible reader, I had to read this to see how they were structuring the Bible for highlighting.

There are other added features available in this Bible include a concordance. Also, there are topic-by-topic articles along with page numbers so you can easily flip there. They are either theologically based or based on personal interests for a quick lookup.

I always appreciate added features on Bibles because it does just that, adds onto your experience in reading the Word of God.

These added blurbs located throughout the Color Code Study Bible are great for either beginner readers or more seasoned ones. Again, I appreciate added knowledge. There really is no negative here because you are going to get a fuller view of the Word of God.

From what I found in reading some of them already, I couldn’t see anything heretical in these blurbs and it brought information into a modern day perspective that you could easily relate with in its story telling. It also offers encouragement with self-reflective questions to help you on your journey of faith.

Again, the Color Code Study Bible may be a one size fits all for those in their faith. I never want to stop being a student of my faith so being given the opportunity to review Bibles like these helps me to appreciate added knowledge even in my seasoned reading status. It also gives me the opportunity to suggest them to my fellow believers who are looking for themselves or others.

I would feel totally comfortable gifting this to my teenager or someone graduating seminary.

Overall, you will have to decide whether or not this is going to be one of the best Bibles to have in your collection for in this season of life. I believe for those who are looking to create new Bible practices, again whether you are a beginner or more seasoned, the Color Code Study Bible will give you the ability to workout different muscles of the brain while also learning the Word of God.
